Walk through it one step at a time
Decide how this box will log in
A MAG and a Formuler reach the same channels by different doors, so settle this first. A MAG always runs from a portal address tied to its MAC, with no username to type. A Formuler can do the same through MyTVOnline, or take the ordinary Xtream Codes login, or run an Android player such as TiviMate since it is Android underneath. If the box on the stand is a MAG, you are on the portal route. If it is a Formuler and you also own an Android tablet or Firestick elsewhere, the Xtream login is worth knowing because the same three details set all of them up. Tell us on WhatsApp which box you have and we point you down the right path before you start pressing buttons.
Find the MAC address and send it over
The MAC is a twelve-character code printed on the label underneath the box, and it is also shown under Settings, then System, then About. On a MAG it begins 00:1A:79. Photograph the label and send the picture on WhatsApp rather than copying it out by hand, because a single wrong character sends your subscription to a box that does not exist. Wait for us to confirm the portal is switched on before you touch the next step; nothing will load until that confirmation comes back, and that is normal rather than a sign anything has gone wrong.
MAG: enter the portal URL
On the MAG open Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals. Give Portal 1 any name you like, Living Room is fine, and paste the portal address we sent into the portal field. Save it, then restart the box fully from the menu or at the plug. The restart is not optional: the MAG only reads the new portal on a clean boot, and skipping it is the single most common reason people message us thinking the setup failed when it has in fact worked.
Formuler: use MyTVOnline or Xtream
On a Formuler open MyTVOnline 2 or 3 and choose Add Portal, then supply a name and the portal address we sent. If you would rather, pick the Xtream Codes option on the same screen and enter the server URL, username and password from your message instead. A Formuler will also install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters from the Play Store if you prefer an app you already know from another room; the subscription behind it is the same either way, so pick whichever feels familiar.
Restart, then check it actually works
After the box reboots it should open straight into the 25,000+ channels with the built-in guide filled in. Do not stop at the channel list: open two or three channels from different categories, let one run for a minute to be sure it holds, and press the remote color buttons to confirm the guide and favorites respond. If the picture is there and stable, you are done, and the same login is ready to add to any other device in the house. If anything is missing, leave the box on and message us, because we can see the activation state from our side and will tell you exactly what is happening.
When something goes wrong (and how we fix it)
The screen says "STB blocked" or stays blank after the restart
Nine times in ten this is the MAC, not the box. A customer last month sent us a MAC ending CD:E0 but the sticker actually read CD:EO with a letter O, so the portal had been bound to an address that can never connect. We only caught it when he photographed the label. So if you hit this, do not retype anything: send us a clear photo of the sticker, we compare it against what is bound, correct it in under a minute, and you restart once more.
Channels load but the guide is empty
Give it longer than you think. A MAG pulls the full guide after the channel list, and across a large lineup that can take several minutes on the first boot. If it is still blank after ten minutes, restart the box once; if it persists past that, message us so we can confirm the guide source is attached to your line and reattach it if it is not.
The box worked, then stopped after a power cut
MAG boxes occasionally drop back to a saved blank portal when the power is pulled. Go back into Settings, System settings, Servers, Portals and check the address is still there and spelled correctly, then restart. If it keeps clearing itself, that points at the box storage rather than your subscription, and we can talk you through a factory reset on WhatsApp and set the portal up again with you afterwards.

Is a dedicated box better than a Firestick for IPTV?
On the main television that runs every evening, yes. A MAG or Formuler gives you a proper remote, a guide that redraws instantly and nothing to sideload or update by hand, and it typically costs $120 to $180. On a spare bedroom set a $30 to $50 Firestick running IPTV Smarters is the sensible choice and nobody will notice the difference. Plenty of our customers run a box on the big screen and a stick everywhere else, all on one login.
Can the same subscription run on my box and my phone at once?
It can run on as many devices as the plan you chose allows at the same time, from one device up to five. The box counts as one of those and your phone as another. Adding the phone later is just a matter of entering the Xtream details, and if you are not sure how many simultaneous streams you have, ask us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is on your account.
Do I have to set it up again if I buy a newer Formuler?
Your subscription does not need reinstalling, but the portal is bound to the box, so a new box means a new MAC. Send us the MAC of the new Formuler on WhatsApp and we move the portal across; the old box simply stops and the new one takes over. The whole swap takes a couple of minutes and there is no charge for it.
