Before you start: grab these
- An LG webOS TV from 2016 or newer (webOS 3.0 and up)
- An LG account signed in on the television
- Either your IPTVUSA4K M3U link or your Xtream login

Walk through it one step at a time
Choose which webOS player to install
Start by deciding between three that work well on LG. IPTV Smarters Player is free and handles the Xtream login with a full guide, which makes it the obvious first choice. iPlayTV and GSE Smart IPTV carry a one-off price and nicer interfaces if you want them. Steer clear of any listing styled TiviMato or Tivimax — those are not TiviMate, which has no webOS version, and they are not worth your money. Settle on one before you open the store so you are not browsing blind.
Open the LG Content Store
Press Home, open the LG Content Store, move across to Apps and use the search field at the top. As with Samsung, searching beats scrolling the promoted rows. Sign in to your LG account if prompted, since the store will let you look but not install while you are signed out.
Install your chosen player
Search the app you picked in step one and install it. Smarters is free; iPlayTV and GSE ask a small one-time price. Let the app finish installing and open it once before you feed in your account, so any first-run setup is out of the way.
Enter your IPTVUSA4K details
With Smarters, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" and type the username, password and server URL. If you are using the Smart IPTV route instead, it works the LG way by showing a MAC address, which you take to siptv.app/mylist on a phone or laptop to attach your M3U link. Type the values rather than trusting a paste, as a stray space is the usual cause of a rejected login.
Restart, then play a channel to verify
Once the app restarts it loads the full lineup with its built-in guide. Confirm everything landed by starting a channel from a couple of groups and watching for a steady picture. The colored buttons on the LG Magic Remote drive favorites and the guide, and learning those two is what makes webOS pleasant to live with day to day. If a channel will not open, read the errors below or send us a photo on WhatsApp.
When something goes wrong (and how we fix it)
A channel shows a black screen but you can hear sound
Sound without picture is a decoder mismatch, not a dead channel — the stream is arriving, webOS just is not drawing it. Open the app settings and switch the player engine to native or hardware decoding, or pick the lower-bitrate copy of that channel, which exists for most sports feeds. One of those two almost always restores the picture; if neither does on a single channel, it is that feed and support can check it from our side.
The player crashes the moment it opens
On the oldest LG sets this is usually a webOS version below 3.0, which the current players no longer support — check your TV's software version in Settings. If you are on 3.0 or later, clear the app's data or delete and reinstall it from the Content Store, since a half-finished first install is the other common cause. When the set is genuinely too old, a small Android box on an HDMI port is the clean answer, and we can recommend one.
The guide is empty even though channels play
A blank guide while live TV works fine is a data load, not a fault. Leave the first sync to finish, then force a guide refresh from the app's settings. Smarters pulls the guide from your login automatically; if a particular app insists on a separate guide URL, message us on WhatsApp and we will send the exact address. It is also worth checking the TV clock is set correctly, because a wrong date on an LG set can push the guide out of view so it looks empty when it is really just offset. Judge the guide only after it has had its first full update and the time is right.

LG Smart TV IPTV FAQ
Which app works best on an LG TV?
IPTV Smarters Player is the one to start with: it is free, takes the Xtream login and shows a full guide, so most people need nothing else. Smart IPTV is leaner and very stable once configured, at the cost of a one-time fee. Both run on webOS 3.0 and later, so your choice comes down to whether you want free and full-featured or lean and paid-once.
Does IPTVUSA4K need a box on an LG TV?
Not on an LG from 2016 onward. The Content Store carries players that take your login directly, so the television is the entire setup. A box only becomes useful on pre-2016 sets, on anything below webOS 3.0, or when you specifically want an app LG does not stock. If you are unsure which camp your model falls into, send us the model number on WhatsApp.
I entered my login but nothing loads — what now?
Check the server URL first: it needs the full address and port exactly as we sent it, with no trailing slash and no stray space from pasting. Retype it by hand once. If the login still will not take, the fastest fix is a photo to +212 610 046 062 — we read the correct values back and, if a channel is genuinely geo-restricted, we sort it from our end rather than sending you changing any TV settings.
What is the difference between the webOS players?
They end up at the same place but feel different getting there. IPTV Smarters Player takes a plain Xtream login, shows a full guide and costs nothing, so it is where most LG owners should begin. iPlayTV and GSE Smart IPTV ask a one-off price for tidier, faster interfaces that some people prefer living with. Smart IPTV uses the MAC-address-and-M3U method instead of a login, which suits households that would rather manage the playlist from a phone. None of them is TiviMate, which has no webOS version at all, so ignore any lookalike listings. If you cannot decide, tell us how you like to watch on WhatsApp and we will nudge you toward the one that fits.
