IPTVUSA4K – 4K live TV on every device you own, set up by a real person

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) Setup: Upload Your Playlist by MAC Address

Smart IPTV, which you will also see written as SIPTV, is a stripped-back player built specifically for Samsung and LG smart TVs, and the first time you open it one thing will look like a bug but is not: there is no login screen anywhere in the app. Instead you upload your playlist against that particular television's MAC address on the developer's website, and the TV then pulls it down. It feels backwards, but it is exactly why the app stays quick on television hardware that chokes on heavier players. It runs on Samsung Tizen 6.5 and newer, and on LG webOS 3.0 and newer. Because the MAC-upload routine is unfamiliar, this is one most people like a hand with, so send us a photo of the MAC on the TV screen and we talk you through the upload on WhatsApp while you watch the channels appear.

Before you start: grab these

  • A Samsung Tizen 6.5+ or LG webOS 3.0+ TV with the Smart IPTV app
  • The MAC address shown inside the Smart IPTV app
  • Your IPTVUSA4K M3U link from WhatsApp

Walk through it one step at a time

  1. Check your TV can run it

Decide this before anything else, because it governs whether Smart IPTV is even an option. The app needs Samsung Tizen 6.5 or newer, or LG webOS 3.0 or newer. If your set is older than that, Smart IPTV will either be missing from the store or will misbehave, and the better path is a cheap Firestick or Android box on that television running IPTV Smarters or TiviMate. If the set is new enough, carry on with the MAC upload below, and if you are unsure of the version, the final question on this page tells you where to look.

Claim a login and we set it up with you

  2. Install the app and note the MAC

From the Samsung or LG app store, install the app listed as Smart IPTV. Launch it a single time and copy down, or snap a photo of, the MAC address it puts on screen, because the next step is done on a different device and you will need that code to hand. It is the television's own MAC, a twelve-character code with colons, and it is what ties your playlist to this one exact set rather than any other in the house.

  3. Upload your playlist by MAC

On a phone or laptop open siptv.app/mylist. Enter that MAC address exactly, colons and all, paste your IPTVUSA4K M3U link into the URL field, tick Keep online so it stays saved, and press Send. This is the step the app puts in place of a login: you are telling the developer's site to hand this playlist to that one television whenever it asks for it.

  4. Restart the app on the TV

Close Smart IPTV completely on the television and open it again. It fetches the playlist you just uploaded, and the channels and EPG appear. If you open it too quickly it may still look empty; give the upload a moment to register on the site and reopen the app, and the full list drops in.

  5. Activate after the seven-day trial

Smart IPTV gives you seven days free, after which it asks for a one-off activation of that one television over at siptv.app/activation. That fee is collected by the people who make Smart IPTV and is completely separate from your IPTVUSA4K subscription; we neither take it nor control it, and paying it does not touch what you pay us. It is a few dollars, once, per TV, and it keeps the app itself licensed on that set.

  6. Confirm channels and guide, then you are set

Open several channels across different categories and let one run for a minute to be sure the stream holds on the TV's own decoder, then open the guide to confirm it filled in. If the picture is steady and the guide is populated, the television is finished. Remember it holds only one playlist at a time, so if you ever re-upload, the new list replaces the old rather than adding to it, which matters if you were hoping to keep two.

When something goes wrong (and how we fix it)

The list uploads but the television shows nothing

Wait a minute and restart the app before assuming it failed, as the upload takes a moment to register. If it is still empty, the MAC is the thing to check. One customer uploaded perfectly to a MAC ending 5A:2B, but his television's MAC actually ended 5A:2D, so the playlist was sitting on the site waiting for a set that will never ask for it. Read the MAC straight off the app screen again, compare every character including the colons, and re-upload to the correct one.

The channels play but there is no guide

Smart IPTV reads the guide from data inside your playlist, so give it a few minutes on first load. If it stays blank, message us and we confirm the EPG is attached to your M3U; occasionally a player wants the guide pointed at separately, and we can send that across so you can paste it in.

After a week it is asking for payment

That is the normal end of the seven-day trial, not your subscription expiring. The one-time activation at siptv.app/activation is the app developer's charge for that television and is unrelated to us. Your IPTVUSA4K plan is unaffected and keeps running on every other device; the activation simply keeps the Smart IPTV app itself working on that one set.

Smart IPTV (SIPTV) IPTV FAQ

What is the difference between Smart IPTV and SSIPTV?

These are two different apps, written by two different developers, that go about the same job in almost the same fashion, which is why the barely different names confuse so many people. The one called Smart IPTV is the MAC-upload method covered above, while SSIPTV can take a link directly on the television. Both work with your IPTVUSA4K playlist, so use whichever your particular TV store actually stocks, and we will tell you which suits your set.

Is the siptv.app payment the same as my subscription?

No, and this trips a lot of people up. The small one-time fee at siptv.app/activation is the Smart IPTV developer's own charge for using their app on that television. Your IPTVUSA4K subscription is a separate thing that you pay us for and that runs on all your devices. Paying one has nothing to do with the other, and we never ask you to pay a third party for the service itself.

How do I find out my TV's Tizen or webOS version?

On a Samsung it is under Settings, Support, About This TV; on an LG it is under Settings, General, About This TV. You need Tizen 6.5 or newer, or webOS 3.0 or newer, for Smart IPTV to behave. If yours is older, do not fight it: tell us on WhatsApp and we set you up with a Firestick or Android box on that television instead, which often works better anyway.
