IPTVUSA4K – 4K live TV on every device you own, set up by a real person

TiviMate Setup: Add Your IPTV Subscription in 5 Minutes

TiviMate is the app people graduate to once a basic player has started to annoy them, and the reason is almost always the guide: a clean grid laid out by channel and time that you scroll through while a channel keeps playing in the corner. For live sport and channel-surfing it is the most comfortable experience on a television. The catch is the platform. TiviMate is Android only and always has been, so it runs on Android TV, Google TV, a Firestick or an Android box, and there is no build for Apple, Samsung or LG, nor will there ever be. If that is your hardware, the IPTV Smarters guide is the one for you. When you are on Android the setup is short, and if you would like company for it we add the playlist with you over WhatsApp and show you where the guide settings live and what Premium is worth.

Before you start: grab these

  • An Android TV, Google TV, Firestick or Android box
  • Your IPTVUSA4K login details from WhatsApp
  • Optional: TiviMate Premium for recording, multi-view, extra playlists and favorites

Walk through it one step at a time

  1. Check you are on Android first

This is the decision that saves the most wasted time, so make it before you install anything. TiviMate exists only for Android, which means Android TV, Google TV, a Firestick or an Android TV box. If your television is a Samsung or an LG, or you watch on an Apple TV or iPhone, there is no TiviMate for you and you should follow the IPTV Smarters guide instead. If you are on Android, carry on; the rest of this takes about five minutes and we can stay with you on WhatsApp throughout.

  2. Install TiviMate

On Android TV and Google TV it is in the Play Store, so search TiviMate and install it. On a Firestick it cannot come from Play and must be sideloaded with the Downloader app, exactly as the Firestick guide describes. Install only TiviMate at this stage; the separate Companion app that handles Premium comes later and goes on your phone, not the television, which is a point that confuses a surprising number of people.

  3. Add a playlist with your Xtream login

Open TiviMate, choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login. Feed it the server address, username and password from the WhatsApp message, then press Next. There is no M3U field to deal with here and none is needed, because the Xtream login carries the channels, the on-demand sections and the guide together. If the password was pasted in, type it again by hand to be safe, since text copied from a chat often drags an invisible space along with it.

  4. Name it and choose categories

Give the playlist a name you will recognize if you ever add a second one, then let the channels and guide download. TiviMate asks which categories to include; that choice is changeable later under Settings, so pick roughly what you want now and do not agonize over it. The first download across a large lineup takes a short while, and the app may sit on a loading screen for a moment before everything appears.

  5. Set the guide to refresh

Open Settings, then TV guide, and set the refresh interval to every 12 hours so the grid stays current without you touching it. Because the guide source travels with the Xtream login, there is no separate EPG URL to paste anywhere, which is one of the things that makes TiviMate quicker to set up than older players that need the guide pointed at by hand.

  6. Optional: add Premium for favorites, recording and multi-view

TiviMate Premium is where favorites, hiding and reordering channel groups, recording, multi-view and running more than one playlist live; on the free version those are locked. It is unlocked through the separate TiviMate Companion app on your phone, not inside TiviMate on the television, which trips up nearly everyone. It runs about $9.99 a year, or a one-off lifetime license between $34 and $38 depending on region, with a seven-day trial so you can decide whether those features matter to you before paying.

  7. Open the guide and confirm it plays

Finish by testing it the way you will actually use it. Open the full guide grid, move across a few channels, and play one from a sports category and one from entertainment, letting each run for a moment. Check the programs shown against the clock to be sure the guide matched your lineup. A grid that is filled in and channels that start promptly mean the setup is done, and the same login is ready to add to any other Android device you own in a minute or two.

When something goes wrong (and how we fix it)

TiviMate says the playlist could not be loaded

Start with the server address: confirm it carries its port and that your plan is still active. The subtler cause is the password. A customer swore his was correct and it was, but he had pasted it from the chat and a trailing space had come with it, so TiviMate was sending the password plus a space and being turned away. Delete the field and type the password by hand, character for character, and it loads.

The guide shows "no information"

Force a refresh from Settings, TV guide, Update now, then shut the app down completely and launch it again. On a big lineup the very first guide download can also just take more time than most people are willing to give it, so if it has been seconds rather than minutes, wait a while before deciding anything is actually wrong.

Favorites or group hiding will not save

Those are Premium features, so on the free version they either do nothing or revert. If you have bought Premium and they still will not stick, make sure you activated it against the same account in the Companion app and that TiviMate has been restarted since, which is what registers the purchase on the television in the first place.

TiviMate IPTV FAQ

How much does TiviMate Premium cost?

Roughly $9.99 for a year, or a single lifetime unlock that lands between $34 and $38 depending where you are. The purchase goes through the TiviMate Companion app on your phone rather than on the TV set itself, and a seven-day trial lets you try recording, multi-view, favorites and group management before you decide whether they are worth paying for.

Does IPTVUSA4K work with TiviMate?

Yes, and with no workarounds. We hand out every account as a plain Xtream Codes login, which is exactly the form TiviMate is built to read, so the live grid, the catch-up and the on-demand rows all fill themselves in without extra configuration. Add it under Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login, and if anything does not appear we check it with you on WhatsApp.

Are favorites and hiding channels really behind Premium?

Yes. On the free app you can watch and browse the guide, but arranging favorites and hiding or reordering channel groups are Premium features, along with recording, multi-view and multiple playlists. If you only want to watch, the free version is fine; if you want the lineup tidied to your household, Premium is the small annual cost that unlocks it.
